Books:

Faithful Men: Disciple Making for the Busy Pastor

In Faithful Men, I offer a practical guide for pastors and church leaders committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. Drawing from personal experience and biblical principles, I emphasize the importance of intentional disciple-making within the local church. This book provides actionable strategies to cultivate a culture of discipleship, encouraging leaders to invest in the spiritual growth of others and to foster communities that reflect Christ’s teachings.

Begin to Disciple: A Practical Guide to Starting the Journey of Disciple-Making is a hands-on, gospel-centered resource for anyone ready to take the next step in spiritual multiplication. Written for everyday believers—not just pastors or professionals—this guide helps you move from wanting to disciple someone to actually doing it.

Toby DeHay offers a clear, relational, and biblical path for making disciples, starting with friendship and grounded in the Great Commission. With simple frameworks like SHARE | CONNECT | SERVE | MULTIPLY, this book equips you to build healthy rhythms, create safe spaces for spiritual growth, and model a life worth imitating.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Who to disciple and how to get started
  • How to disciple both new and undiscipled believers
  • Practical steps for leading with friendship, setting boundaries, and developing sustainable rhythms
  • A step-by-step guide, sample weekly templates, and helpful FAQs
  • Vision and encouragement for spiritual generations (2 Timothy 2:2)

Whether you’re a first-time discipler or looking to strengthen your disciple-making efforts, Begin to Disciple will give you the tools, confidence, and clarity to live out Jesus’ call—one relationship at a time.

Disciple’s Journal: A Companion Guide for Disciple Making, Using the SOAP Bible Study Method

This journal is designed to guide you on a transformative spiritual journey. By incorporating the SOAP method (Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer), you’ll learn to study the Bible effectively and apply its truths to your daily life.

As you delve into the Word, you’ll develop habits of daily devotion and weekly discipleship meetings. You’ll explore evangelistic verses, read through the book of 1 John, and eventually choose your own books to study.

The journal also provides space for sermon notes, encouraging you to actively listen and reflect on the messages you hear. By practicing these disciplines, you’ll grow in your faith, deepen your relationship with God, and become a more effective disciple.

I developed this journal to encourage new or maturing believers to spend daily time with the Lord in His Word. It’s best used within a discipling relationship and provides the basics for Bible journaling, Sermon note-taking, and beginning steps for evangelism.

SHARE! Foundations for a Journey of Faith

SHARE: Foundations for a Journey of Faith
Book 1 in the SHARE | CONNECT | SERVE | MULTIPLY series.

SHARE is the first step in a four-part disciple-making journey, designed to help new believers understand and live out their faith in Jesus Christ. This book introduces the foundational elements of the Christian life in a simple, engaging way—perfect for one-on-one discipleship or small group settings.

Readers will explore topics such as:

  • What it means to be spiritually born through faith in Christ
  • The significance of baptism as a step of obedience
  • How to clearly share the Gospel using tools like the 3 Circles method
  • The call for every believer to make disciples
  • Establishing new habits through spiritual disciplines like prayer, Bible study, and community

Whether you’re just beginning your faith journey or walking alongside someone who is, SHARE offers a practical and biblical guide to starting strong in your new life with Christ.

Colossians: An Introduction to Inductive Bible Study

“Colossians: An Introduction to Inductive Bible Study” is designed to guide you through an in-depth exploration of Colossians using the Inductive Bible Study Method. This method encourages a personal and active approach to understanding Scripture by examining verse-by-verse text rather than relying solely on external interpretations. The aim is to gain knowledge and foster a deeper connection with God’s Word and its practical application in your daily life. The study is structured around a weekly format, incorporating reading, reflection, and discussion, focusing on personal spiritual growth and disciple-making. Visual aids, such as videos, are included to enhance your understanding. The study also emphasizes the importance of prayer for guidance throughout this process. Through observation, interpretation, and application, you will learn how to draw your insights and discover how the Colossians book relates to your spiritual journey.

I spent 2024 reading, studying, and rereading Colossians. It was such a blessing to me! I saw such rich themes for Christian growth and principles for disciple-making that I took time over the winter to develop this teaching tool.

This book fits anytime after CONNECT in the SHARE | CONNECT | SERVE | MULTIPLY series. (I’d call it book 2.1+ of 4!)

Everywhere Leaves Out Nowhere: Strategies for Evangelism for the Rural Church

My friend Charles was known to say, “We need an ‘Everywhere Leaves out Nowhere’ evangelism strategy! If we shared everywhere, nowhere would be left out!” I’m praying for a 2026 release date for this book. Or not. We’ll see!

Equipping the churches of Little Bethel Baptist Association for evangelism using Charles Brock’s Good News for you evangelistic method (MBTS DMin Dissertation 2018)

Abstract:
The purpose of this project was to equip the churches of Little Bethel Baptist Association for evangelism, using Charles Brock’s Good News For You! evangelistic method. The Project Director led a sample group of four churches and one outside Baptist Association in a training session. The project objective included leading participants to understand the Biblical basis for evangelism, providing them with evangelistic tools related to the Good News For You! method, and equip them with a strategic plan to reach both their community as a whole and individuals through daily encounters with the good news.
